Day 2

Things I got right YesterdaY

  1. Weigh in the morning (251.8, starting weight)

  2. No alcohol at home (or anywhere)

  3. No fast food breakfast

  4. Intermittent fast til 12 pm (made it to 1pm)

  5. Eat low carb/high protein

  6. Drink more water

  7. In bed for 8 hours

Things I almost got right yesterday

  1. Attack the morning. While I did not get my walk in, I made the decision to start my diet, commit to it, and blog about it.

  2. 15k steps. I just ran out of time. I got a walk in at lunch, and ended the day with 8k steps on my phone. Probably 10k steps overall.

Things I have gotten Right today (so far)

  1. Weighed (247.8)

  2. Attacked the morning! 1.5 mile walk from 6:30 to 7am.

  3. Didn’t stop for fast food breakfast

Will check in tomorrow detailing the rest of my day. As for now, feeling grateful and hopeful for the opportunity to prove to myself I can lose weight and get healthy. Tonight, we are going our for Claudia’s birthday eve, but I am committed to eating low carb and sticking to my two drink maximum. Tomorrow is her actual birthday, so will have to stay focused, but will keep to my rules as best as I can. It’s all a process, and I am hopeful about making this as sustainable as possible.
